    Event Description:
    To all the friends of the Knox Creek Heritage Center, I am so very sorry to announce the board members of KCHC unanimously agree the timing still is neither appropriate nor safe to hold our “A Country Afternoon celebration” originally scheduled for Saturday, September 12, 2020.  We all hoped the situation we’ve been in for so long now would have improved, but we want to make sure we do our part to protect you, your families and our members during this difficult time.  We all hoped we would have been able to see you for this event so you could see the progress we have made on the new pavilion.  The kitchen area is nearly complete and ready to host those attending our event.  We missed you all in March, June and now, we’ll miss you in September, but I’d like to remind everyone to send in your annual membership so we can continue to make improvements to our wonderful facilities.  We hope things will return to at least semi-normal so we can meet again in December for our “Finnish Independence Day celebration” scheduled for Saturday, December 5, 2020.  We’ll have a big pot of mojakka ready for everyone to enjoy.  If anyone would like to have a personal tour prior to our upcoming event, please contact any of our board members through our “contact us” link at https://sites.google.com/site/knoxheritagecenter/home.  Thank you all and stay healthy.
