Northcentral Technical College

Northcentral Technical College (NTC) provides high-quality, learner and employer focused, educational pathways committed to enriching lives and strengthening the economy. For over 100 years, NTC has been changing lives in central Wisconsin. Started in 1912 in a small, two-story building called the Wausau Industrial School, NTC has a long history of inspiring learners and supporting local businesses.

In 2010, renovations were unveiled at NTC's Phillips campus which added 12,500 square feet to the existing building. The renovations enabled NTC to offer additional learning options for students, including increasing the number of in-person courses. Since then, NTC has expanded access to technology and high-speed internet, so students have the opportunity to complete their classes in-person or online. NTC's Phillips campus also features a Community Technology Center, which provides the general public with the same opportunity to access technology that supports life-long learning.
